The Footsteps Programmes from IDT are aimed at babies and pre-school children and use dance, gymnastic skills and music to stimulate physical and mental development, and instil a love of physical activity from an early age.
The sessions focus on improving agility, balance and co-ordination, which in turn improves children's confidence in their own ability. Designed to assist children in reaching Early Years milestones, and ensure that they have a strong level of physical literacy prior to starting school.
The programmes are designed to be delivered by qualified dance teachers and cover Acro, Ballet, Tap, Street and Singing.
Each programme includes 6 terms worth of lesson plans and playlists, along with recommended equipment lists.
